  • Does Screencast-O-Matic (SOM) have a time limit?  Free Accounts: Record up to 15 minutes per video Premier accounts: Unlimited recording time.
     

  • Does Screencast-O-Matic (SOM) need to be installed on your computer? For recording your screen, no. For editing your video, yes. You need your IT specialist to help you install the software. Please submit a ticket via the Help Desk
     

  • What is the main difference between Microsoft Stream and Screencast O Matic?

    Both tools can be used to record your screen. Additionally MS Stream is used as a video library for an organization and SOM is better used for editing videos.
